An exciting opportunity has come to market with a fast-growing, highly established Top 50 Accounting Practice, looking to hire a Private Client Tax Senior Associate. This is a client-facing role where you'll work directly with high-net and ultra-high-net worth individuals and families who have complex UK and cross-border tax issues, often involving residency, property assets, estate planning assignments and trusts.

Role responsibilities:

  • Prepare and/or review UK Self-Assessment tax returns including reporting of worldwide income, foreign tax credits, complex disclosures and interpreting double tax agreements.
  • Prepare and/or review CGT (non-res CGT), ATED, ROE registrations and annual updates, Corporation Tax returns for non-UK resident landlord companies.
  • Support clients with HMRC enquiries, settlements, and disclosures.
  • Provide tailored advice on global mobility including pre‑ and post‑arrival UK tax planning.
  • Prepare advisory reports in relation to strategic UK tax planning for international clients and their offshore corporate and trust structures.
  • Advise on the changes to UK tax legislation that are relevant to international clients.
  • Assist with planning around international succession, trusts, and estate tax exposure.
  • Assist clients with estate planning strategies to reduce their exposure to IHT.
  • Liaise with intermediaries including family offices, lawyers, offshore trustees, investment managers, etc.
