- Assess freight markets: Surveys market participants throughout the day; publishes price updates; demonstrates a thorough understanding of S&P Global Energy’s methodology; uses mathematics and Excel spreadsheets rigorously and can perform a full set of assessments without aid of a spreadsheet.
- Write high‑quality market commentaries: Prepares commentaries linked to assessments, helping readers understand both the market dynamics and the methodology behind the assessments.
- Report news about the markets: Communicates news and publishes analysis on supply and demand developments, government data, regulatory changes, trader movements, general price trend analysis and other relevant topics.
