An investment management firm is seeking to recruit a Portfolio Specialist to join the Global Fixed Income desk.
The purpose of this role is to support Portfolio Managers and Traders with the active management of Global Fixed Income portfolios.
The successful candidate will interact closely with Portfolio Managers and Traders to ensure timely and accurate execution of investment strategies/decisions across client portfolios. The role will support with the day-to-day portfolio management activities including rebalancing portfolios, market price movements, managing cash positions, monitoring risk and analysing performance.
Candidate Requirements:
- 3-7 years of relevant work experience gained in a similar role
- Demonstrate sound working knowledge of fixed income markets
- Strong academic background
- Excellent quantitative and numerical skills, with extensive knowledge of Excel
- Professional qualifications such as CFA will be hugely advantageous
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Team player who enjoys working in a collegiate environment
