About the Client

Our client is a British multinational company in the financial services and asset management sector. They provide a variety of products and services catering to both individual and institutional clients and are recognized for their commitment to social responsibility and sustainability.

What you will do

• Ensure timely, accurate payments and HMRC reporting with proper controls, confirming all tasks are completed and team engagement remains high.
• Oversee escalation and resolution of complex issues, ensuring proper logging, root cause analysis, and continual improvement.
• Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and training on processes, ensuring process documentation, change control, and regular skills matrix reviews.
• Oversee and develop the team to deliver business objectives, ensuring progress is documented and policies are followed.
• Embed Conduct Risk in daily operations, ensuring processes and controls consistently deliver good customer outcomes.

What you will bring

• Knowledge of the payroll and pensions industry.
• Proven experience managing high-volume pension payrolls (10,000+).
• Proven ability to prioritise and manage queries whilst considering team performance and activities.
• Ability to analyse and interpret financial processes.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence effectively in complex environments.
• Proactive team player with strong people management skills, skilled in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
