Team/Role Overview
The Global Mobility Senior Analyst is a professional role that integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. It requires understanding how areas integrate within the sub-function, coordination to contribute to function objectives, and strong analytical and communication skills. This role provides essential operational support as part of the Mobility & Immigration team, assisting with facilitation of international assignments and relocations, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
What you\\\’ll do
- Provide high quality and efficient support to Mobility & Immigration team, employees and business managers as required.
- Build relationships with Mobility & Immigration colleagues globally to ensure seamless mobility support.
- Advise and support Managers, HR and employees on mobility program usage (Expatriate, Local-to-Local and Short-term assignments, and rotational programs).
- Gain exposure to payroll, benefits, taxes, immigration and relocation.
- Prepare cost projections/relocation estimates for HR; oversee services such as visas, housing, school enrolment, and destination services as applicable.
- Conduct employee briefing sessions on allowances and benefits of mobility programs.
- Prepare assignment documents and compensation summaries.
- Ensure expatriate records and payroll processes are completed timely per Citi\\\’s procedures.
- Act as primary contact for expatriate employees for ongoing support.
- Coordinate with external providers for relocation support at start and during assignments.
- Answer questions as needed and provide SME guidance on mobility policies.
- Maintain employee records and mobility data in relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Monitor vendor performance and support end-of-assignment activities including localisation and repatriation.
- Support ad-hoc projects and pre-/during-/post-assignment tasks as required.
- Provide invoice processing support and track allowances/benefits as needed.
- Operate with limited supervision and act as SME to stakeholders and team members.
- Assess risk in business decisions, ensure compliance with laws and Citi policies, escalate issues with transparency.
What we\\\’ll need from you
- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills; customer service oriented; proactive; adept with technology.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement.
- Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Administrative or team support experience, preferably in HR, Global Mobility or International Business.
