A leading global Specialty Insurance provider is hiring a Claims Business Intelligence Lead to own and evolve the Claims MI, reporting and insight framework across the business. This is a high-impact role sitting at the centre of Claims leadership, Data, IT, Finance, Underwriting and Compliance—turning complex data into clear performance insight and decision-ready reporting.

What You'll Do

  • Own the Claims MI strategy and governance: KPI frameworks, data definitions, reporting standards, validation and distribution controls.
  • Deliver dashboards and reporting suites (Power BI/Tableau) and produce monthly/quarterly MI packs for senior leadership, Boards and regulators.
  • Build performance insight across leakage, cycle times, operational metrics, quality and service delivery.
  • Partner cross-functionally (Claims, CDO/Data Office, IT, Transformation, Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance, Compliance) to prioritise and deliver reporting needs.
  • Define data requirements, monitor data quality/lineage, and drive fixes through to resolution.
  • Coordinate regulatory reporting requirements across multiple global jurisdictions.
  • Coach/lead BI capability as the function grows; drive self-service adoption and training.

What we're looking for

  • Strong experience designing and governing MI frameworks and executive-ready reporting in a complex environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Claims operations, lifecycle, processes and metrics (Property/Casualty/Specialty).
  • Advanced Power BI and/or Tableau dashboarding and insight storytelling for senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable navigating data warehouses, pipelines, integrations, and multi-system Claims data.
  • Exposure to Lloyd's and/or Company Market structures, bordereaux, or related regulatory MI is beneficial.
  • Degree and/or relevant professional qualification (ACII progress/experience is a plus).

Why this role

You'll be the product owner for Claims BI, shaping how the organisation measures performance, meets regulatory expectations, and improves Claims outcomes through data-led decisions.
