Role description
This Senior Manager will report to the LCH Business Controls Officer and will act as a first line specialist focused on Operational Resilience across LCH Ltd. The role champions high‑quality resilience practices, assesses and monitors the resilience profile of key business services, and ensures alignment with Group frameworks and regulatory expectations (Bank of England Operational Resilience Policy, DORA, etc.). Strong stakeholder management across the three lines of defence and the wider LSEG organisation is essential.
Key responsibilities of the role
- Lead the coordination, creation and reporting of the Operational Resilience Self‑Assessment, overseeing related activities:
- Service identification and prioritisation
- Service dependency mapping
- Impact tolerance reviews
- Vulnerability assessment
- Engage and coordinate with LCH Ltd on Group‑initiated Operational Resilience activities, providing oversight where necessary for Business Continuity matters.
- Ensure LCH Ltd alignment with Group Operational Resilience frameworks and support ongoing compliance with policy and regulatory expectations.
- Represent LCH Ltd at relevant industry Operational Resilience forums.
- Provide oversight and support for additional Operational Resilience matters, such as scenario testing.
- Apply knowledge of legislation, regulatory and compliance requirements to develop and implement recommendations that enhance resilience and reporting.
- Seek opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Operational Resilience within LCH Ltd.
Skills, knowledge & experience
- Experience in Operational Resilience, Operational Risk or Business Continuity (financial services experience preferred).
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
- In‑depth knowledge of the Bank of England Operational Resilience Policy.
- Confident communicator, capable of producing clear documentation and presentations.
- Independent, self‑motivated with sound judgement.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft 365 suite (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
- Knowledge of regulatory expectations and continuous improvement mindset.
