The Revenue Technical Solution Architect (RTSA) is a principal-level strategic leader that partners closely with Sales, Account Management, Product Technology and our Enterprise Data Organization to lead technical discussions with clients and contribute to technical end-to-end solutions that drive velocity, deal size, win rates and retention. The RTSA contributes to solution narratives, helps remove technical friction in the sales cycles and supports adaptation and expansion by ensuring solutions are scalable, secure and feasible.
Primary Focus
- Drive technical deal execution by translating customer objectives into practical technical solution designs aligned to established product capabilities, architectures and delivery standards.
- Contribute to shift in feature selling to solution-led consultative architecture, emphasising workflow integration, automation, measurable outcomes and repeatable delivery patterns.
- Enable scale in the revenue organization by shaping playbooks and revenue enablement strategies for technical integration, connectivity and AI solution deployment.
- Build relationships with customer technical stakeholders to align on objectives, architecture strategy and adoption barriers.
Revenue & Deal Enablement
- Support revenue teams by contributing to solution narratives, value propositions and technical positioning aligned to existing plays and messaging.
- Participate in customer meetings as a technical advisor to demonstrate S&P capabilities, handle technical objections and establish S&P as a strategic long-term partner.
- Translate complex customer requirements to position deployable solutions and repeatable sales patterns.
Customer & Commercial Problem Solving
- Develop an advanced understanding of the customer ecosystem and business processes and map workflows to solution capabilities (data, analytics, automation/AI) to support measurable outcomes.
- Resolve technical objections by aligning architecture decisions to customer capability and coordinate with internal teams to provide evidence (benchmarks, patterns, references).
- Identify adoption risks and gaps (data readiness, integration dependencies, security reviews) and support mitigation planning with Revenue teams, Product and Technology.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Technology partners to share deal learnings and contribute to refinement of offerings through structured feedback.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives (playbooks, templates, reference architectures) by contributing content and examples.
- Contribute to strategic technology initiatives by ensuring the customer voice and feedback is incorporated to evolve our solutions.
- Develop deep relationships with technology counterparts at our customers and partners.
Organizational Enablement & Influence
- Shape enterprise playbooks, governance and enablement strategies with key stakeholders.
- Design and lead advanced training programs for revenue-wide capability building.
- Contribute to prototypes and proofs of concept with customers to ensure appropriate fit for workflow and technical feasibility, maintaining a feedback loop with Product and Technology.
Required Experience & Revenue Expertise
- 8+ years in solution architecture, technology, pre-sales and/or GTM architecture.
- Advanced expertise in enterprise architecture, integration strategies and customer ecosystems.
- Technical fluency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), hyperscalers and modern orchestration approaches.
- Working fluency in AI/automation concepts, including agentic frameworks and orchestration tools, with the ability to translate capabilities into deployable client solutions.
- Proven capability to partner across Revenue, Technology and Product functions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across matrixed organizations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
