We are seeking a talented and passionate People Operations Manager to oversee People Operations across the UK, Ireland, BVI, Cayman Islands and Bermuda. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this individual will play a key role in shaping and delivering a high-quality, scalable People Operations function across multiple jurisdictions.
You will have end-to-end responsibility for People operations, ensuring excellence across employee lifecycle processes, regulatory compliance, HR systems, data governance, payroll coordination, benefits administration and vendor management. This role will also lead a regional People Operations team consisting of one People Operations Partner and two Senior People Associates. Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Provide oversight of all People Operations activities across the UK, Ireland, BVI, Cayman and Bermuda, ensuring queries are resolved within SLA and KPI expectations. Lead and develop the regional People Operations team, optimising performance through coaching, mentoring, delegation and continuous improvement. Maintain high-quality, compliant and efficient Joiners, Movers and Leavers processes across all jurisdictions, driving ongoing refinement and standardisation.
- Policy, Compliance & Governance: Develop, update and implement People policies and procedures that reflect local legislation and regulatory requirements across multiple territories. Monitor employment legislation in each region, ensuring continued compliance and mitigating risk. Maintain accurate and secure employee records and HR databases in line with data protection requirements.
- HR Systems, Reporting & Insights: Serve as a subject matter expert for HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity, process optimisation, and strong user experience. Conduct regular HR data analysis and prepare clear, insightful reporting to support decision-making. Maintain and develop data models, trackers, dashboards and spreadsheets to support People Operations.
- Payroll, Benefits & Vendor Management: Lead monthly payroll cycles in collaboration with outsourced payroll providers across all jurisdictions. Coordinate benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and employee understanding. Manage relationships with external HR vendors and service providers, overseeing HR-related invoices and contractual arrangements.
- Projects & Continuous Improvement: Support and lead HR and Talent initiatives that drive process optimisation, employee experience enhancement and operational scalability. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, proactively identifying opportunities to streamline processes and elevate service delivery. Contribute to broader People strategy execution across the region.
- Previous experience in a People Operations Manager, HR Operations Manager, HR Team Leader or HR Assistant Manager role.
- Strong understanding of People operations, employee lifecycle processes and HR systems.
- Experience working across multiple regions or jurisdictions (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce actionable insights.
- Confident in managing complex situations and challenging senior stakeholders appropriately.
- Robust knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment law principles.
- Ability to make sound, timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Skilled in building strong stakeholder relationships across all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrates a hands-on approach with a drive for accuracy and high-quality delivery.
