M&A Associate - Infrastructure - Selby Jennings in London

The Role

Support the execution of M&A transactions across the infrastructure and energy value chain, from origination through to completion

Build and maintain complex financial models and valuation analyses to support investment decisions

Take an active role in transaction workstreams, including due diligence, structuring, and documentation

Engage directly with management teams, advisors, and other stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle

Contribute to origination efforts, including market mapping and identifying new investment opportunities across emerging markets

Candidate Profile

3-5 years' experience within investment banking, with a clear focus on infrastructure

Currently operating at Associate 1 level with upcoming progression to Associate 2

Strong technical skillset with the ability to run workstreams with a high degree of independence

Exposure to transactions across energy, renewables, or broader infrastructure sectors

Interest in, or experience with, emerging markets is advantageous

Trained within a top-tier or well-established platform with rigorous analytical standards

Commercially minded, proactive, and confident in client‐facing situations
