A leading global reinsurance business is seeking a Longevity Client Manager / Operations Specialist to join its growing UK & Ireland life division. This is a key role within a high-performing longevity team, supporting both new deal execution and ongoing client and contract management across a diverse portfolio.
You will play a central role in managing a rapidly expanding longevity book, working closely with actuarial, legal, and client stakeholders. The position blends project management, client relationship ownership, and operational oversight, offering strong exposure to complex reinsurance transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Deal Execution (c.20%)
- Support end-to-end delivery of new longevity transactions
- Coordinate internal approvals and manage execution timelines
- Lead operational due diligence and produce supporting reports
- Negotiate operational aspects of contracts to ensure scalability
- Client & Contract Management (c.70%)
- Own and develop relationships with selected clients
- Oversee transition of new deals into business-as-usual operations
- Manage ongoing contractual obligations and ad-hoc requests
- Lead audit processes and reporting for in-force deals
- Review and implement contractual amendments, balancing risk and client needs
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
- Monitor deadlines, deliverables, and risk escalation
- Team & Project Support (c.10%)
- Contribute to broader longevity initiatives and projects
- Prepare presentations and reporting materials
- Support development of internal longevity capabilities and market proposition
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in pensions, longevity, or reinsurance operations
- Proven ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations
- Client relationship management experience
- Ability to interpret complex legal/contractual documentation
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g. PivotTables, lookups, data analysis)
- Project management experience
