Our client, an established European private equity buy‐out firm, is looking to expand their London‐based Investor Relations team. You will work directly with senior sales professionals and the wider IR team supporting all existing and future fundraising efforts and ensuring a best‐in‐class investor experience.
What the job involves:
- Junior project-management-focused individual with the ability to develop into a second point of client contact for client relationships in Europe, the Middle East, and APAC.
- Support the coverage team in researching, preparing and executing a relationship management plan for both existing and prospective investors, including researching and tracking investor information and driving follow‐ups and post‐meeting actions.
- Prepare high‐quality materials, agendas and briefing notes for investor meetings and roadshows across regions.
- Assist with co‐investment processes, including investor communications, data room management and diligence workstreams in collaboration with the deal teams, and serve as project leader for IR tasks.
- Develop knowledge of the firm's investment activity, portfolio companies and performance to serve as a resource for investor queries.
- Assist the Client Services team with the preparation of written materials, including quarterly reporting requirements, due diligence questionnaires, pitchbook materials and any preparations for investor events and meetings.
- Maintain CRM systems and trackers to ensure accurate investor records and pipeline reports.
Who we are looking for:
- Degree educated with prior experience in investment banking or project management experience at a placement agent.
- Prior understanding of and exposure to Private Equity.
- Exceptional project management skills, with sharp attention to detail and organisational capabilities.
- Clear interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to analyse and interpret data and understand the private‐equity landscape.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple workstreams and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to work well in a team.
- Proactive, self‐starter with enthusiasm and initiative in a fast‐paced environment.
- Exceptionally advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate CRM systems and databases.
