Verity Capital is a fast‑growing, FCA‑regulated multi‑family office based in Marylebone. This is a senior, hands‑on role at the centre of everything we do — working directly with the Founding Partner/CIO across investment operations, data infrastructure and client delivery.

The role is broad by design. You will be the operational backbone of the investment process, ensuring the firm runs with precision and scalability. For the right candidate, there is a genuine path towards portfolio management responsibilities (if suitable). You will be as comfortable writing Python as you are executing a bond trade or preparing a client performance report. You will be expected to identify problems, build solutions, and own outcomes end‑to‑end.

This is an office‑based role at our Marylebone headquarters. We are a small, high‑intensity team and we work best together in person.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trade Execution & Settlement
    • Execute trades across asset classes (bonds, ETFs/stocks, hedge funds) on behalf of client portfolios
    • Manage the full trade lifecycle: bookings, confirmations, settlement, and corporate actions
  • Regulatory & Compliance Reporting
    • Own MiFIR transaction reporting, ensuring completeness and accuracy across all instruments
    • Support the compliance function with data preparation for FCA obligations
  • Custodian Operations & Reconciliations
    • Perform position reconciliations across custodian accounts
    • Identify and resolve pricing discrepancies, data feed issues and valuation breaks promptly
    • Maintain data integrity across all systems with timely escalation of material issues
  • Cash & Portfolio Management Support
    • Oversee cash management across clients (reinvest redemptions/early calls, FX where necessary)
    • Support portfolio‑level reporting, performance attribution and accurate calculation of fees
    • Assist with front‑office reporting workflows and bespoke client deliverables
  • Data, Automation & Technology
    • Build and maintain automated workflows to reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency
    • Act as the firm’s internal data analyst — maintaining clean, reliable data across all systems
    • Evaluate and implement operational/portfolio management tools as the firm scales
About YouWork Experience
  • 5+ years in investment operations, middle office, or a closely related function within a hedge fund, asset manager, private
