This is a high-impact Associate role within a specialist emerging markets credit platform, offering exposure across transaction execution, credit analysis, and portfolio management. What You'll Be Doing
- Lead execution across senior debt, structured and project finance deals, from screening through to close, including modelling, credit analysis, IC materials, and due diligence.
- Assess credit risk in complex emerging market contexts and support the structuring of robust, innovative financing solutions.
- Take responsibility for portfolio performance post-investment, monitoring assets, engaging stakeholders, and managing amendments or restructurings.
- Act as a key link between senior leadership and external stakeholders (DFIs, sponsors, lenders, advisors), while contributing to pipeline development and investor processes.
- Review Analyst output, provide guidance, and help elevate execution standards across the platform.
Your Profile
- 4–7 years' experience in credit, structured/project finance, or leveraged finance
- Proven track record executing transactions end-to-end
- Strong financial modelling and credit underwriting capability
- Emerging markets exposure (Africa advantageous)
