We are hiring a finance manager to take ownership of the finance function within a growth, leading software development business in London. You will be joining a fast-paced environment where stronger financial oversight is needed. You will work closely with a strong Finance Director, who is looking for someone to support the finance team and wider business on finance-related matters as well as upskilling where appropriate. This role suits someone confident, steady under pressure, and hungry. You will play a key role in shaping how finance operates as the company continues to expand.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end finance function across multiple entities.
- Lead and develop a small finance team, setting priorities, reviewing output, and driving accountability.
- Deliver monthly group financial analysis and management accounts, providing clear commercial insight to senior leadership.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic and board-level decision making.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and systems to improve reporting speed, accuracy, and scalability.
- Lead external audits and ensure ongoing compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
