We are a private equity firm investing in renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure across developing markets. Our portfolio spans utility-scale solar, infrastructure assets, platform companies, and adjacent clean energy assets in regions where capital deployment drives both attractive risk-adjusted returns and meaningful development impact. We raise capital from a genuinely global investor base spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
We are seeking a Managing Director of Capital Raising to lead our global fundraising strategy across institutional, private wealth, and family office channels. You will own the LP relationship lifecycle worldwide—from initial sourcing through commitment and ongoing investor engagement—and serve as a senior point of contact for current and prospective limited partners. You will play a central role in shaping how we position our platform to an international investor community that increasingly seeks both returns and impact.
This is a senior, internationally-mobile role for someone who combines capital markets fluency with a relationship-led approach and cross-border fluency.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and execution of a global fundraising strategy spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, across new fund vehicles, co-investment opportunities, and bespoke structures for sophisticated investors.
- Build and maintain a high-quality international pipeline of LPs across the capital spectrum—including family offices, multi-family office platforms, ultra-high-net-worth principals, foundations, endowments, pension funds, insurance companies, and sovereign wealth funds.
- Engage with development finance institutions and blended finance platforms where strategically relevant to specific fund vehicles.
- Lead the production of fund marketing materials including PPMs, pitchbooks, DDQs, and investor reporting collateral, ensuring positioning resonates across diverse cultural and regulatory contexts.
- Manage the end-to-end fundraising process, including international roadshows, data-room management, due diligence coordination, side-letter negotiations, and closings across multiple jurisdictions.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for current and prospective LPs, building durable, multi-year relationships.
- Represent the firm at global industry conferences, family office gatherings, and bilateral meetings—with regular travel across key fundraising geographies.
- Navigate the regulatory landscape across jurisdictions (AIFMD marketing, Reg D / Reg S, SFC, MAS, ADGM/DIFC, etc.) in partnership with legal counsel.
- Provide market intelligence on LP appetite, regional fund terms, and competitor positioning to inform fund structuring decisions.
- Partner with the IR function on ongoing LP communications, AGMs, capital calls, and reporting across time zones.
- Experience: 7+ years in private capital fundraising, investor coverage, or sustainable/impact investment solutions, with demonstrable evidence of scaling AUM and building durable LP relationships. Track record of working with sophisticated investors—institutional, family office, or both—in private markets contexts. USA and international experience or exposure to cross-border capital raising is required; candidates moving from impact-focused asset managers, wealth platforms, or placement roles are encouraged to apply alongside traditional PE IR profiles.
- Network: Established relationships across at least one of: the international family office and UHNW ecosystem, institutional LPs allocating to private markets, or the global DFI/blended finance community. Demonstrated ability to open doors and convert long-cycle relationships into commitments across borders.
- Technical fluency: Working understanding of fund structures (closed-end funds, parallel vehicles, SMAs, feeder funds for international investors), waterfall mechanics, and the commercial and legal terms typical to private capital. Familiarity with cross-border marketing regulations and tax considerations for international LPs is a plus.
- Sector context: Our funds invest in renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure, so genuine interest in the energy transition is essential. Exposure to or curiosity about impact measurement frameworks is welcome, but deep expertise in any specific framework can be developed on the job. A technical or environmental background—engineering, sciences, or sustainability—is a plus, though not required.
- Personal qualities: Credible and articulate in senior investor settings across cultures. Relationship-driven, with the patience and discipline to manage multi-year, multi-jurisdiction sales cycles. Operationally minded—equally comfortable shaping client experience and process as opening doors. Self-directed and entrepreneurial. Extensive international travel is a core part of this role—comfort operating across time zones and an appetite for global travel are essential. Additional languages are welcome but not required. Open to candidates relocating internationally for the role.
A senior seat at a firm investing where capital is most needed, with global reach and competitive compensation including base, bonus, and carried interest participation. The chance to shape the growth trajectory of a platform operating at the intersection of returns and impact.
