Our client, a dynamic and global Fund Services platform provider, is looking to hire a senior Sales candidate to drive sales efforts for fund administration across the private equity / private credit fund sectors. The role will focus on originating and converting new business with private equity managers, building long-term relationships, and positioning the firm’s full platform of solutions. Only candidates with strong experience in selling into private equity funds at a fund administrator or adjacent company should apply.
Role & Responsibilities
- Originate and close new client mandates with private equity managers across Europe.
- Introduce top tier clients to the wide range of product offerings, including Fund Administration, digital KYC, portfolio management, reporting and analytics, investor management, investor portal, valuations and data collection.
- Map target clients, influencers, and referral channels, and drive accountability for coverage and execution.
- Own the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to close.
- Work with Delivery and R&D teams to devise the optimum operating model for prospects.
- Develop tailored pitches, proposals, and commercial structures for private equity managers.
- Partner with product and solutions teams to refine messaging and provide client feedback on market requirements.
- Support the Business Development team at industry events, conferences and seminars.
- Collaborate with colleagues in other regions and asset class segments to cross-sell and share intelligence.
Background & Experience
- Proven track record (at least 5 years) in selling into Private Equity funds at a Fund Administrator or adjacent company (such as data, SaaS, fintech firms).
- Have experience with, and ideally existing contacts within the private capital markets community (lawyers, investors, bankers, accountants) as well as within the General Partner / Limited Partner / PortCo communities.
- Good understanding of fund structures (Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Capital).
- Strategic thinker with experience building segmentation and coverage models.
- Experience managing a pipeline and closing large contracts.
- Proven ability to execute, especially negotiation and closing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage at senior levels.
- Strong organisational skills and disciplined pipeline management.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages preferred.
