About Liontrust Asset Management

Liontrust is a specialist fund management company with a distinct culture and approach to investing. Founded in 1995 and listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1999, we are an independent business with no corporate parent. Our purpose is to enable investors to enjoy a better financial future. We do this by creating an environment in which our fund managers and employees can flourish, helping investors meet their financial goals, supporting companies in generating sustainable growth, and empowering the wider community.

Our strategy is built around four key objectives:

  • Enhancing the client experience and investment outcomes
  • Diversifying our product range and investment offering
  • Broadening distribution and expanding our client base
  • Strengthening technological, data and digital capabilities to advance investment management, client service and operational efficiency

At Liontrust, our values of courage, power and pride underpin everything we do, supported by our Behaviour Charter.

Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Co-Heads of the Cashflow Solution Team, the Equity Quantitative Investment Analyst plays a key role in supporting the management and performance evaluation of Cashflow funds. The role focuses on researching, analysing and monitoring investment opportunities to enable informed decision-making by the investment team and clients.

The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly successful, long-standing investment team at Liontrust. For nearly two decades, the team has applied a proven investment process and distinctive business model, delivering strong long-term performance and earning multiple industry awards. With an expanding investment remit and a strong European franchise, the team is now seeking exceptional talent to support the next phase of its evolution.

You will join a highly focused, two-person team that has worked together for many years and developed a distinctive, IP-rich investment process. Analysts are recruited not as support staff, but as future portfolio managers — individuals who will learn the craft, deepen the process and ultimately manage capital. The successful candidate will work closely with the portfolio managers, gain deep exposure to the underlying methodology, and over time contribute directly to equity portfolio development. This is a role for someone motivated by high-conviction, process-driven investing, offering steep learning, broad responsibility and a clear long-term career runway.
