A leading technology driven, quantitative hedge fund is seeking an experienced Database Engineer with ClickHouse expertise. You would be responsible for managing and optimising large-scale database systems supporting research and trading activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain ClickHouse clusters across distributed environments
  • Configure replication, sharding, and coordination services (Keeper/ZooKeeper)
  • Handle data lifecycle: partitioning, TTL, and merge operations
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise query performance
  • Manage server resources: CPU, memory, and disk
  • Design high availability and disaster recovery solutions
  • Enforce access controls and security policies
  • Support streaming and batch data ingestion pipelines

Requirements:
