Responsibilities
- Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies.
- Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyse the impacts of different capital structures and potential financing, debt capital markets or M&A transactions.
- Coverage: Southeast Asia.
- Support the preparation of presentation materials for client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and general corporate finance.
- Support the origination and execution of equity and debt transactions, including due diligence and drafting of documents.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on clients and targets.
- Research and analysis of markets and industries, companies based on company information, research reports, and other sources.
- Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the bank, internal and external stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in Investment Bank / IBD / Corporate Finance / M&A; candidate must be keen to relocate to Singapore and gain SEA experience.
- Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high-intensity environment.
- Strong work ethics and excellent learning/work attitude; independent and can perform without much supervision.
- Detail oriented with good financial analysis skills.
- Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge.
