Our client is a market-leading business focused on transforming both PBSA and BTR living. PSD is recruiting a new role for an ambitious investment associate who will support the CEO and senior management team to deliver strategic growth and corporate development initiatives for the existing portfolio, potential investments, partnerships, and new market development.
Responsibilities
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in current and potential markets.
- Financial Analysis: Undertake financial analysis, valuation and modelling to assess the feasibility and financial implications of opportunities, including investment transactions, investments and partnerships.
- Due Diligence: Help to coordinate and manage due diligence efforts for transactions, including coordinating with internal teams and external advisors to assess risks, opportunities and integration challenges.
- Risk Management: Work with the CEO and CFO to identify, assess and manage the risks associated with investment activities, ensuring alignment with the company's risk appetite.
- Transaction Support: Provide support to the senior team at all phases of transactions from opportunity identification through to deal execution and operational implementation.

- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence key internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent commercial acumen and, as a minimum, a good working knowledge of financial accounting concepts.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse market trends and identify growth opportunities.
- High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and confidentiality.
Candidate Background
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree or professional qualification preferred.
- Strong experience in investment banking, or strategic consulting, with a proven track record of successfully supporting deal execution.
- Exposure to operational real estate.
- Good understanding of market dynamics and experience in identifying investment opportunities.
- Advanced Excel skills.
