The Role

This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and analytically strong Investment Analyst to work at the intersection of sustainability and private equity. The successful candidate will support investments that are reshaping the future of food and agriculture, working closely with senior team members on financial modelling, market analysis, and strategic initiatives across portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, scenario analysis) to support investment decisions
  • Conduct market research, industry mapping, and competitive analysis across the food and agribusiness sectors
  • Assist in the preparation of investment committee materials, memos, and presentations
  • Support due diligence processes, including commercial, financial, and ESG assessments
  • Collaborate with portfolio company management teams on strategic and operational initiatives
  • Track and analyse portfolio performance, KPIs, and value creation metrics
  • Contribute to internal investment pipeline tracking and deal origination efforts
  • Engage with external stakeholders including advisors, consultants, and co-investors

Candidate Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in M&A Investment Banking
  • Exceptional financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Outstanding academic background from a top-tier university
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Additional European language skills are a plus but not essential
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small, high-performing team
  • Full right to work in the UK
