We are working with a leading asset manager who are looking for a Head of Manager Research to lead and shape its equity fund selection strategy. You will oversee a senior team, drive the manager research framework, and partner closely with portfolio managers and executives to deliver superior investment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the manager research function with a strong focus on equities
  • Manage due diligence, monitoring, and high-conviction equity fund selection
  • Chair fund selection committees and influence portfolio construction
  • Develop and mentor senior analysts, fostering innovation and rigour
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including portfolio managers, risk, and compliance
  • Integrate advanced quantitative tools to enhance research efficiency
  • Represent the firm to clients and consultants, ensuring strong governance and compliance

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ senior experience in equity manager research or multi-manager portfolio leadership
  • Proven track record of managing research teams and driving investment decisions
