Our client, a London-based private investment fund which focuses on going to market through a number of strategies, is currently looking to hire a Head of Operations for its growing team. The fund, which was established in 2019, has built a high-conviction investment platform focused on delivering strong long-term returns and has so far grown its returns year on year.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the firm operational and regulatory infrastructure whilst working closely with the Managing Partner and investment team.
- This is a hands-on role within a lean, high-performing investment environment and requires a flexible attitude.
- Overseeing the firm compliance framework and working closely with external compliance consultants and counsel.
- Managing all regulatory reporting requirements.
- Supervising daily trade reconciliation and operational processes.
- Acting as the primary operational contact for investors, including managing operational due diligence requests, performance updates, and ad hoc enquiries.
- Supporting the ongoing development and scalability of the firm operational platform.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations within an investment management environment.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory reporting in the UK.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work in a small, entrepreneurial team.
- Experience dealing with investors and operational due diligence processes.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Strong academic background.
