The Global Insight (GI) business combines macro‑economic, country risk, industry, supply chain and maritime data & analytics capabilities to help customers deepen investment conviction, refine asset allocations, and mitigate financial and compliance risk. This role is part of the new business sales team for GI products to European financial institutions. You will drive sales of the Economics & Supply Chain product portfolio to banks, hedge funds, asset managers and pension funds.

Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed new business sales targets for subscriptions and consultancy sales.
- Accurately forecast committed and best‑case deals monthly and maintain quarterly pipeline.
- Generate outbound pipeline by meeting agreed customer activity targets.
- Leverage internal and external resources to learn the product suite and key customer pain points.
- Demonstrate progress in key stages of the sales process and meet MEDDPICC qualification criteria.
- Achieve synergy or cross‑sell targets set by the organization.
- Provide meetings with key customers for the S&P Executive Leadership team when required.
- Travel throughout the region to meet with customers and prospects.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven ability to understand and apply a data & analytics sales process.
- Knowledge of key personas within the Financials vertical and ability to tailor a sales plan.
- Ability to learn and articulate multiple GI data, analytics, and research solutions.
- Track record of generating outbound pipeline from existing relationships and new logos.
- Experience building annual sales plans with growth accounts and white‑space strategy.
- Skill in generating meetings from S&P relationships, cold outreach, and low‑penetration accounts.
- Ability to create email outreach content and organize in‑person customer events.
- Success in selling both transactional and enterprise deals ($50k‑$500k).
- Strong preparation and discovery skills across user personas.
- Capability to build champions at the director and C‑level.
- Experience delivering professional proposals and managing trials/POC/pilots.
- High energy and curiosity about prospect personas and challenges.
- Persistence in learning and improving.
