Our client, an Investment Bank here in London is seeking a FI Structured Solution Salesperson at Vice President/Director level – focusing on Structured Notes and Repacks.
The Fixed Income Structured Solutions team is responsible for the origination, structuring, and execution of bespoke fixed income products, including structured notes and repackaged instruments, tailored to meet the investment, hedging, and regulatory needs of institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and structure fixed income solutions across asset classes, including credit, rates, and FX-linked products
- Design and execute structured notes and repack transactions for institutional clients such as private banks, asset managers, and insurance companies
- Collaborate with sales, trading, legal, and compliance teams to deliver client‑centric solutions within regulatory frameworks
- Lead client discussions to identify investment objectives and risk profiles, translating them into actionable product ideas
- Monitor market trends and regulatory developments to identify opportunities for innovation and product enhancement
- Manage end‑to‑end transaction lifecycle, including pricing, documentation, and post‑trade support
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to strategic initiatives across the structured solutions platform
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fixed income structuring, ideally with exposure to structured notes and repacks
- Strong understanding of credit markets, interest rate derivatives, and securitization techniques
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory considerations impacting structured products (e.g., PRIIPs, MiFID II, EMIR)
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in pricing tools and Excel/VBA
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior clients and stakeholders
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; CFA or other relevant certifications preferred
