Overview
This newly created Finance Manager role for a rapidly growing Private Equity firm pays £65,000 to £75,000 depending on experience with a discretionary bonus. Based in the City, this is a permanent position.
Role This Finance Manager role will be working closely with the Finance Director to provide support for a growing team. Please find a brief outline of the role below.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly close process for overseas entities: review trial balances, journals, intercompany positions, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Take responsibility for accurate reporting and forecasting of group-level (head office and shared) costs.
- Manage budgeting, reforecasting, and variance analysis in coordination with business stakeholders.
- Support and own elements of group consolidation, including elimination entries and intercompany reconciliations for relevant entities.
- Lead on areas of preparation of half-year and year-end group financial statements under IFRS.
- Liaise with local finance teams and third-party advisors to ensure timely submission of financial data and compliance with group policies.
- Build, manage and develop strong relationships with country and entity directors in Ireland, Asia, US and other jurisdictions, acting as finance business partner.
- Confidently manage senior stakeholders, ensuring financial communication is clear, solutions-focused, and aligned with Group requirements.
- Ensure consistent application of IFRS across international subsidiaries.
Profile
- A Big 6 Qualified Accountant (ACA)
- At least 1-2 years post-qualification experience in a similar role
- Experience with IFRS; ideally IFRS 15
- Background in Financial Services or Professional Services
