Are you looking for a career move that will put you at the heart of a global financial institution? Then bring your skills in analysis, problem solving and communication to Citi's Export & Agency Finance team.
By joining Citi, you will become part of a global organisation whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress. Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) is a market leading, award‑winning provider of cash management, cards and trade solutions to financial institutions, public sector, and corporate clients around the world. With a global network spanning 100+ countries, we are uniquely qualified to service clients with local and cross‑border interests and provide integrated reporting and management. TTS is a highly innovative organization with a strong digital agenda; new products and services are continuously being developed to meet our clients' rapidly evolving treasury requirements and unlock new opportunities for growth. We provide clients with dynamic information, tools, and APIs to effectively manage their portfolios, financial positions, working capital and supply chains. One of key divisions of TTS is the Export & Agency (“EAF”) finance team.
EAF arranges short, medium and long‑term structured financings with the support of Official Agencies (including export credit agencies (ECAs), development finance institutions (DFIs) and multilateral development banks (MDBs)) to Citi’s Banking and Commercial Banking client base. EAF operates as a global platform with the ability to structure, arrange, underwrite, syndicate and lend under bespoke debt financings that defray risk through credit and political risk support from Official Agencies and/or access their funding, lending or interest support programs. EAF is implementing a growth plan with a view to significantly increasing the number of loans that it originates and books each year. To support the ramp‑up of activities, EAF intends to expand its Transportation team which has the responsibility for all aspects of loan origination, structuring and arranging services for clients in both the Aviation, Shipping and Maritime Services industries globally. The role will be for a senior resource at Director level, based out of London, and the successful candidate will assume turnkey responsibility for the development of the business in a number of allocated markets.
Citi has an on‑ground presence in the major countries where vessels or aircraft are manufactured, and EAF is seeking to leverage this extensive network to support its growth agenda.
Industry CoverageIndustry coverage to include primarily companies engaged in Shipping and Aviation, primarily and those companies that own and operate maritime assets as an integral part of their business model.
