Multi-strategy hedge fund is seeking an equity vol trader to join an established vol arb pod based in London.

Responsibilities

  • Track market developments to manage risk and identify investment opportunities.
  • Support and enhance the PM's research process.
  • Backtest strategies as well as develop quantitative models and tools to further improve the team’s investment process.

Qualifications

  • Educated at a top tier university in a quantitative discipline.
  • Prior work experience of 1-5 years in a closely related field such as trading, market-making, strategy/research, junior PM etc.
  • Equity Vol product knowledge is essential – open to single stock, index and dispersion backgrounds.
  • Experience with a programming language, Python being highly desirable.
