Our client is a mid‑market UK bank and is looking to add a person to its equity sales team. They are open to levels of experience but some exposure to working in sales is essential.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with major institutional accounts.
  • Disseminate equity research, market colour, and bespoke trade ideas to clients.
  • Liaise with equity research analysts to organise corporate management meetings, roadshows, and conferences.
  • Work closely with traders, investment bankers, and syndicate teams to maximise capital.
  • Oversee order progress, ensure smooth transaction execution, and provide ongoing portfolio/holding reviews.

Key Requirements & Skills

  • Deep understanding of global financial markets, equity valuation metrics, and sector-specific catalysts.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to distil complex fundamental/technical data into clear, actionable pitches.
  • A highly social, outgoing, and diplomatic personality with the ability to build long‑term buy‑side trust.
