Engineering Graduate Programme (Backend) – London Stock Exchange Group
Programme overview: The Technology Graduate Programme provides a 12-month development opportunity for graduates to start a career in global financial markets technology, with a focus on Backend Development. You will be aligned to a division from day one and learn through structured training, projects, and interactions with multiple departments.
Programme start date: September 2026
Eligibility: Final year undergraduate or Master’s student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline and have completed all course requirements before August/September 2026, or a fresh graduate in the class of 2025.
What we are looking for: A genuine interest in technology and a desire to pursue a technology career path. Candidates should understand the broader organisation, how technology supports LSEG and its clients, and be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Role focus: Backend Development. Familiarity with one of the programming languages Java or Python and databases like SQL is preferred. We aim to match your interests, skills and background to available developer roles.
