Credit Process and Deal Management
- Participate in Senior and Executive Credit Committee meetings for Fund Solutions transactions.
- Critically analyse and assess the merits of new deals presented by the front office to the UK Credit Committee agenda.
- Assess and document annual reviews, increases, and/or amendments to existing loans.
- Research counterparties, markets, and/or products as required, providing detailed insights to Credit and Risk Management stakeholders.
- Provide UK Credit Committee members with robust business, credit, and financial analysis of proposed counterparties and transactions.
- Present risk views and rationale to support (or decline) transactions to the team.
- Document Credit Committee decisions, outcomes, and conditions, including credit summaries and meeting minutes.
- Collaborate with Credit Administrators to streamline the credit process, ensuring all necessary information is available for decision-making and that decisions are accurately recorded.
Credit Portfolio Analytics
- Prepare deal summaries and transaction updates for credit reporting on the loan book to the Board, rating agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Research and develop enhanced analytical approaches (quantitative and qualitative) for portfolio management.
- Serve as key point of contact for Credit Reporting, ensuring dashboard accuracy aligns with Risk Appetite Framework and Senior Management requirements.
- Actively contribute to IRB model discussions and deliverables to support regulatory projects.
