Meraki Talent is working with a long-standing client on the Position of Director or Partner for a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants.
Our client:
Our client is based in the Northeast of England in the Northumberland region. The business operates as expected of a mid-tier CA firm providing expert advice across multiple service lines such as Audit, Business Services, Advisory, Tax etc. Over recent years the business has seen tremendous growth across each discipline, with a particular drive and focus on the growth of their Business Services function. The Business Services department consists of 30+ staff operating as a strategic advisory service to clients and outsourced financial services.
The role:
As a Director or Partner within the Business Services function, you will lead a team consisting of trainee accountants up to Manager grade. The Business Services department manages the finances for a large portfolio of clients typical of the local market in sectors such as Professional Services, Tech, Renewables, Energy, Construction, Manufacturing, amongst many others. The work you will do will include shaping the team at all levels, working with and becoming a key member within the leadership group. Provide value add service both internally within the team and external to clients. The firm is keen to onboard a GREAT market facing person, someone that understands the importance of being out in the market networking and growing a business function whilst bringing others within the team along with them on a journey of excellence.
Experience:
The role is open to experienced accounting professionals operating at Manager and Senior Manager grades for Director level or already operating as a Director looking for that 1st Partner opportunity.
