cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in Canary Wharf. They are seeking a Data Integration Engineer VP to work with them on a 6-month contract.

Education

Bachelor’s in Software Engineering, Data Science, or IT (Master’s desirable in related or business fields such as Maths or MBA).

Core Knowledge

Strong understanding of data integration, PL/SQL/T-SQL, and data governance including quality, security, and compliance.

Experience

  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and DataStage ETL
  • SQL, ETL tools, data modelling, data marts, and integration tools (e.g. SSIS, DataStage, Alteryx)
  • Regulatory reporting in banking environments
  • Data transformation and modelling
  • Cloud storage exposure
  • Exposure to Azure and Databricks (desirable)
  • Experience with AQR/ECB reporting (desirable)
  • Middleware technologies (Kafka, IIB, MQ) (desirable)
