My client is a top ranked, technology-driven trading firm run by Computer Scientists and Olympiad winning mathematicians from some of the top global tech and financial firms. They are widely considered as using some of the best tech out there and constantly push it to the limits.
They are searching for a passionate and talented Security Engineer to join their firm in a top priority position/team. You must be keen to take on new technologies as you will be involved in an array of work covering the firm’s cyber security strategy!
Role:
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of security measures.
- Identify gaps in security, research and recommend improvements, review new toolsets for use within the company, exploit/security testing.
- Provide a strong level consultancy when it comes to engineering security solutions.
- Provide input for architecture plans with consideration of current standards.
- Monitor new and emerging technologies that could be adopted.
- Take on incident response duties.
- Liaison with key stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth handover from engineering to production.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of security engineering concepts.
- Knowledge of enterprise cloud infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows systems.
- Knowledge of network protocols.
- Experience with firewalls/TCP/IP.
- Deep understanding of wider technologies around server, desktop, storage, network, database, firewalls, SaaS, virtual machines.
- Understanding of enterprise security.
- Demonstrate understanding of DLP, IPS, endpoint, anti-malware, sandbox, vulnerability scanners.
