Job Description
We\βre recruiting for Customer Service Representatives to join our Bereavements team. We\βre offering a starting salary of Β£22,050. This is a hybrid role where you\βll work half your week from home and half in our Cardiff office.
Our teams are made up of professionals from different backgrounds including care and nursing. If you\βre a caring and empathetic person, who loves nothing more than to support people during their time of need then we\βd love to hear from you.
What you\βll be doing:
- Talking to colleagues and customers regularly, including phone conversations and completing associated administrative tasks while managing your own caseload.
- Using appropriate techniques to understand the customer\βs needs through proactive and reactive contact, keeping them updated via various channels including phone, email, messaging, correspondence, and online.
- For our most vulnerable customers, ensuring you consider their circumstances and needs while taking additional steps to support them during their interactions with Legal & General.
- Understanding all appropriate legislative, regulatory, and internal process & procedure knowledge.
- Speaking to customers or their loved ones when a claim needs to be made due to serious illness or bereavement, putting the customer at the heart of everything you do.
Qualifications
Who we\βre looking for:
- The skills below are important to us. Rest assured, we will show you the L&G way. You\βll be in our full-time office-based induction for a couple of weeks so you\βll have the tools you need before you start helping our customers and clients.
- People who love helping people!
- Strong communication and administration skills with a passion to support customers, whatever their personal circumstances. Given the nature of some of the calls we receive, it\βs important you\βre authentic and empathetic.
- Confidence in using a desktop or laptop and experience in using MS Office.
