Leading asset management and investment advisory firm require an Analyst or Associate to perform corporate credit analysis and loan management functions for a mandate with a major investment bank in London.
Main responsibilities:
- Managing loans backing portfolios of middle market corporate loans.
- Provide and/or arrange financings backed (at least in part) by corporate risk in the trade, inventory, and commercial real estate loan sectors.
- Credit analysis of corporates across a wide variety of industries.
- Assessment of corporate credit risk related to loans and trade or inventory finance transactions.
- Asset management oversight of corporate loans and loan portfolios.
- Conduct analysis, both qualitative and quantitative.
Skills And Experience:
- Ideally have between at least 4-7 years’ experience in corporate loan asset management, credit risk and/or corporate lending.
- Analytical mind-set, good knowledge of corporate credit (analysis of financials, credit metrics).
- Client/counterparty facing role requiring excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong client management and communication skills.
- Ability to cover full risk management spectrum.
- Experience dealing with large data sets and systems.
- Ability to think analytically and present solutions clearly.
- Understanding key credit risks facing the business.
- Suit candidates who can work independently and are motivated to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced competence with PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- Experience with the Bloomberg terminal would be a positive.
