Technical Commodities Business Analyst – Greenfield ETRM Programme
We are supporting a major commodities organisation on a large-scale greenfield ETRM reimplementation programme and are looking for a Technical Commodities Business Analyst to play a key role in the delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands‑on experience with Openlink Endur within a complex enterprise trading environment, while also contributing to modernisation initiatives involving AI‑driven analysis and solution design. The successful candidate will work across front‑to‑back trade lifecycle processes and partner closely with trading, operations and technology teams to help shape and deliver robust enterprise‑wide solutions. Salary up to £100k plus bonus – London
Key Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within commodities/trading technology environments
- Strong hands‑on E/CTRM configuration experience
- Experience delivering enterprise‑wide solutions using industry‑standard methodologies
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to analyse complex problems from first principles
- Exposure to greenfield implementation programmes would be highly advantageous
- Understanding of modern solution and design principles
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
Technical & Functional Experience
- Capturing detailed business scope and functional/non‑functional requirements
- Facilitating business workshops and stakeholder sessions
- Creation of process maps and testing scenariosStrong understanding of front, middle and back‑office trade lifecycle events
- Preparing, scoping and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Proven experience with data mapping and interface specifications
- Experience defining both functional and non‑functional integration requirements
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks would be beneficial
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence solutions supporting business analysis, workflow optimisation or solution delivery
- Experience working on ETRM modernisation or transformation programmes
