A Medium sized Fixed Income Investment Manager is currently recruiting for a Client Reporting Analyst. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years within Reporting or Portfolio Operations with very strong Excel (Advanced) and Data Management Skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage the production and delivery of accurate, complete, and timely client reports, ensuring all internal and external deadlines are met.
- Maintain, update, and perform quality assurance (QA) checks on periodic and ad-hoc reporting materials, including factsheets, commentaries, and scheduled client data requests.
- Conduct data analysis to identify reporting requirements and ensure data inputs are complete, accurate, and appropriate.
- Validate information and apply relevant analytical techniques to prepare and present results for internal and external stakeholders (clients, third parties, management, and internal teams).
- Apply a procedural and governance-focused approach, ensuring reporting processes are well-documented, controlled, and executed to a high standard.
- Identify inefficiencies in existing reporting workflows and support automation and process improvement initiatives—leveraging strong Excel skills and, where possible, PowerQuery or PowerBI.
- Collaborate with teams across the business to manage regular and complex ad-hoc queries, data requests, and reporting changes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in Client Reporting or a similar reporting/analytical role within the Investment Management industry.
- Strong understanding of investment data, reporting processes, and relevant systems.
- Basic knowledge of investment products, particularly pooled fund structures (UCITS and non-UCITS).
- Strong data manipulation skills with the ability to analyse fund and portfolio-level datasets.
- Advanced Excel skills essential; experience with PowerQuery and PowerBI is advantageous.
- Intermediate Bloomberg skills or experience with similar financial data vendor tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a track record of delivering accurate outputs under time pressure.
