Client Operations Apprentice

Man Group is seeking a driven and ambitious Client Operations Apprentice to join our Client Operations team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to build a career in asset management operations. The team sits at the heart of Man Group’s investor flows oversight, acting as a central hub across our investment engines — giving you broad exposure to fund operations, risk management, and operational controls from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Become proficient in the team's core systems, using them effectively to support daily operations
  • Support oversight of Service Provider and Transfer Agency processes and procedures
  • Contribute to the reconciliation of capital flows, ensuring accurate and timely reporting while maintaining data integrity
  • Develop a strong understanding of the operating model and key controls, proactively identifying improvement opportunities and collaborating on their implementation
  • Assist in managing client queries and cases through Salesforce
  • Build and maintain relationships across global teams including Sales, Middle Office, Front Office, and Senior Management

  • The right to work in the UK
  • To have lived in the UK or EEA continuously for the past 3 years
  • Not to have previously studied the course content
  • Not to undertake any other qualification during your apprenticeship
  • To be able to apply your learning to your role

Apprenticeship Programme Details

  • Qualification Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist with IMC
  • Duration 15‑month programme (12‑month training, 3‑month apprenticeship assessment)
  • Apprenticeship Assessment Project and presentation, and portfolio‑based interview
