Our client is a leading third party Loan Servicing and Loan Asset Management business. This market leading business works with a variety of different real estate lenders and manages performing commercial real estate loans, NPL's and securitised products on behalf of their clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire an experienced real estate lending or banking professional to manage a portfolio of commercial real estate loans and act as facility and security agent on transactions on behalf of some of their key clients including investment management firms, debt funds and bulge bracket investment banks.
Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral commercial real estate investment and development loans.
- Working closely with the in-house Legal team and, where necessary, external counsel, reviewing relevant finance documents prior to loan closing and through the life of the loan.
- Liaising with borrowers and their representatives in relation to ensuring reporting and other information required under the relevant finance documents are provided in a timely manner.
- Coordinating with lenders, borrowers and their respective lawyers in respect to loan redemptions, restructuring, amendments, waivers and other adhoc requests.
- Processing transfers, setting up waterfalls and reviewing back-office calculations.
- Liaising with project monitors, borrowers and lenders with regard to drawdowns and calculating lender splits, if required.
Requirements
- Experience in real estate debt or banking.
- Experience across both development and investment finance is beneficial.
- Solid analytical skills with interim to advanced level ability of Excel.
- Experience of working in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
