Their projects include applications for real‑time trading and generation of information‑rich visualisations based on archived data. The team serves the UI needs across the business, and this role will involve writing highly optimised code for high‑performance back‑ends running on Linux to process huge amounts of data. There will also be an opportunity to do full‑stack work, contributing to the C++ front‑end code for Qt desktop applications, as well as Typescript/React for web applications.
Salary: £200k base + bonus
Requirements:
- Minimum 4+ years of modern C++ development experience (C++ 11/14/17/20)
- Solid experience of Linux and low‑level systems programming
- Knowledge of and ability to develop scalable back‑end services
- Skilled at writing reliable code, and providing code review feedback to others
- Bonus points for any of: Typescript/Javascript, React, Qt, Python
