About The Role

Contract: 12 month FTC
This is a high impact Business Transformation Lead role supporting the Wealth Management Transformation (WMT) Programme and then the Digital Servicing project, as well as other activities as applicable. Sitting within the Client Services and Oversight function (initially focussing on Wealth Management Transformation) and reporting into WMT Leadership / Executive Sponsor, the role acts as the key business lead across design and change implementation, ensuring alignment between programme delivery and business objectives. The role will work closely with programme leadership, technical delivery teams, business SMEs and stakeholders across the organisation, with a strong focus on improving client and adviser experience and delivering operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to be a part of a critical transformation agenda, ensuring changes are successfully embedded into business as usual and actively participating in the planning for the second phase of the programme and then the Digital Servicing project.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key business representative across all workstreams, communicating programme vision, priorities, goals and benefits.
- Actively participate in vital pre go-live activities, business go-live and post go-live support, including issue triage, escalation, backlog management, stakeholder feedback loops and fast-follow improvement delivery. Also in the discover, planning, communicating and delivery of the Digital Servicing project.
- Drive scope prioritisation and process design conversations and participate in requirements gathering and delivery planning for phase 2 (and following projects), ensuring deliveries are aligned to business benefits/ programme objectives.
- Act as the lead for all business and change readiness activities including, communications, leadership updates, business townhalls, change impact assessments, handover to BAU and sustainable adoption of new ways of working.
- Lead stakeholder and Super User engagement across training, testing, rollout and hypercare, ensuring active participation, effective feedback management and a smooth transition into business-as-usual operations.
- Oversee design management, implementation dependencies, risks, governance forums and third-party delivery, ensuring design decisions are aligned to agreed scope, business needs and programme objectives.
Key stakeholders will include Programme Leadership, Executive Sponsors, Technical Delivery teams, business SMEs, Steering Committee, Programme Board, Design Authority Group and wider operational and client-facing business teams.
Consumer Duty
Whilst this is not a directly customer-facing role, the duties performed will contribute to good customer outcomes by helping deliver effective transformation, robust operational processes and improved colleague, adviser and client experience across the wealth management business. The role holder will be expected to consider the impact of programme decisions, process changes and implementation activity on clients and advisers, supporting solutions that are operationally effective, well-controlled and aligned to the delivery of positive outcomes.
About You
- Proven experience leading complex business transformation, change or programme delivery initiatives within wealth management or broader financial services.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility, challenge constructively and operate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a programme business leader equivalent business-facing change lead, with experience in decision-making, escalation and issue resolution.
- Experience in process design, requirements gathering, and delivery execution, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, practical business outcomes.
- Strong leadership capability in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, including managing readiness, communications, engagement and adoption through periods of change.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative style, with the ability to engage stakeholders, drive super user participation and support successful transition into business-as-usual operations.
- Knowledge of wealth management operating models, client journeys and transformation delivery within a regulated financial services environment would be advantageous.
