Our client, a niche, rapidly expanding fund manager, is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Manager with 5+ years of sales experience to join its expanding team. As a key member of their business development division, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing capital strategies, and representing the company in various investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective capital strategies to drive sales growth and meet/exceed targets set by the Sales Director.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with retail investors and Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs) to promote the firm's investment products.
- Represent the company in investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and other networking events to showcase their offerings and build rapport with potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for clients.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the investment industry.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline development, and market insights to the management team.
Experience Required
- Proven track record of 5+ years in sales, preferably within the alternatives or traditional asset management industry.
- Strong understanding of investment products and financial markets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
