Opportunity Overview: A fantastic opportunity has risen to temporarily join my client as a Business Analyst.
My client is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services. The Firm\'s employees serve clients worldwide including corporations, governments, and individuals from more than 1,200 offices in 43 countries.
Role Objective: The Projects team is responsible for managing a considerable percentage of Finance\'s technology spend, helping to deliver across a portfolio of projects including Regulatory Capital, Leverage and Reporting, Financial Accounting and General Ledger renovation. The team is also front and centre of the technology architecture discussions. The team supports EU, Global and local regulatory driven initiatives across Financial and Capital Reporting including Basel 3, Capital Calculators, FED, SEC, PRA & EBA reporting initiatives as well as FinRep, Bank Levy and Recovery & Resolution Reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Business analysis in support of the Capital/Financial Regulatory Reporting project stream in an Agile environment
- Liaison with Clients and IT colleagues to identify new requirements, create user stories and track prioritization and remediation
- Develop collaborative relationships with a squad working across different departments and regions
- Lead and/or contribute to key project work streams relating to buildout of evolving regulatory rules
- Take part in Squad/Fleet Agile ceremonies providing updates and reporting for Clients and Senior Management
- Communicate and escape to line management as appropriate
