A boutique consulting firm is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support a major Brexit-related transformation programme within a leading investment banking environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has built early experience within Capital Markets operations and has transitioned into a Business Analyst role, looking to further develop their career on a high-profile regulatory and operational change programme.
The Role
Working as part of a wider change and delivery team, you’ll support the analysis, documentation, and coordination of key business and operational processes impacted by Brexit-related regulatory and organisational change. You’ll work closely with front office, middle office, operations, technology, and project stakeholders to help ensure smooth delivery across the programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Support requirements gathering and business analysis activities across the project lifecycle
- Work with stakeholders to document business processes, workflows, and operational impacts
- Assist with gap analysis, process mapping, and data analysis activities
- Coordinate with operations, trader support, and technology teams to track project deliverables
- Produce high-quality project documentation including requirements, meeting notes, action logs, and status updates
- Support testing, implementation, and change management activities where required
- Help manage project governance and stakeholder communications
About You
We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of investment banking operations who has already gained some exposure to Business Analysis within change or transformation programmes. You may currently be working as a Junior BA or may have moved into BA responsibilities from an operations, middle office, or trade support background.
Skills & Experience Required
- Around 1+ year of Business Analysis experience within financial services
- Prior experience working within Capital Markets environments
- Background in operations, middle office, trade support, or related banking functions
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Comfortable working in fast-paced project environments
- Understanding of regulatory or Brexit-related change initiatives would be advantageous
