The Investment and Operations Change and Technology team provides strategic change and technology solutions to support investment performance, enhance client outcomes, and improve operational efficiency. The scope ranges from incremental business-as-usual changes to large-scale transformation initiatives. The Portfolio Lead Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the Investment and Operations team by leading analysis and management of a diverse project portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 5-10 business analysts, developing talent and improving performance to ensure high team performance.
- Programme Partnership: Partner with programme leads to ensure quality and consistency of analysis, proactively developing workforce capabilities aligned with the strategic change roadmap.
- Player/Manager Role: Conduct business analysis activities, including business capability assessments, target operating model design, and feasibility assessments to support business cases, solutions, and recommendations.
- Community of Practice: Collaborate with other Portfolio Lead Business Analysts to drive consistency, share best practices, and enhance business outcomes and employee engagement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across Investment and Operations, gathering feedback and influencing outcomes.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proven ability to define target operating models and conduct business capability and feasibility assessments.
- Experience managing and coaching business analysts.
- Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite and executives.
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to present complex data clearly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Passion for fostering an inclusive, diverse work environment.
- Deep understanding of business analysis tools, techniques, and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with lateral thinking ability.
- Ability to identify and support benefits realization.

Experience:
