Part‑Time Finance Manager (Interim / Fixed Term) 2 days a week in the office Bristol. Our client are looking for a practical, steady pair of hands to support the finance function over the coming months. This is a part‑time role with a broad brief – ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck into the detail while also helping shape how things run. You’ll take ownership of core finance activity across a small group of sites, working closely with operational leads and reporting into a group‑level contact. The environment is busy, evolving, and not overly corporate – so the ability to prioritise, keep things moving, and introduce improvements without fuss will be key.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the month‑end close and ensuring numbers are accurate and timely
  • Building and maintaining a rolling 13‑week cashflow forecast
  • Supporting day‑to‑day financial control across multiple locations
  • Driving improvements in processes and controls where needed
  • Playing a hands‑on role in system upgrades and migrations (finance and payroll/people systems)
  • Acting as a reliable finance point of contact for site leadership

What we’re looking for:

  • Solid core accounting background, comfortable owning the books end‑to‑end
  • Experience in cashflow forecasting and working capital management
  • Confident working independently in a hands‑on role
  • Exposure to system implementation or upgrades (finance systems in particular)
  • Familiarity with multi‑site operations, ideally in manufacturing or a similar environment
  • Someone with enough presence to influence and drive change, without overcomplicating things
  • Ideally a qualified Accountant
