The Ascot Lloyd Platform, established in 2023, continues to evolve as a core component of our wealth management proposition. This role presents an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work in a fast‑paced environment during a period of continued expansion and enhancement of our platform capabilities. As a Platform Operations Administrator, you will work with our platform and back‑office data to monitor transactions as well as being a point of contact for staff to raise queries and training needs. You will also help the Platform scale with exposure to governance, project work and building process workflows to make the Platform more robust.
A successful candidate will bring an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving, be able to use own initiative, while also contributing to effective team working. We are committed to continuous improvement; you'll also be expected to actively look for opportunities to be more efficient and improve the service provision of the team.
Key Responsibilities- Daily data processing and analysis activities within the department to ensure that platform transactions are monitored and processed in accordance with service level agreements and risk controls.
- Robust record keeping of daily transaction analysis and MI distribution to key stakeholders.
- Collaborating with our platform partner counterparts to address potential system issues and alerting key stakeholders to allow the impact to end users to be assessed in accordance with compliance policies and internal controls.
- You will be the first point of contact for training and provide an exceptional platform support service for our staff.
- You will be able to effectively troubleshoot queries relating to training needs raised to a successful conclusion.
- This also includes tracking and reporting contact types and understanding and adhering to problem escalation processes.
- Keeping our clients informed by regularly issuing key information required by the regulator as well as on‑boarding material and general communications is essential.
- You will assist in facilitating the timely delivery of such documents.
- Be aware of the business practices and processes associated with the role, and act in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations.
- Ensure that all dealings with clients, colleagues and third parties are always conducted professionally and in a courteous manner in accordance with Ascot Lloyd core values.
- Adopting 'Treating Customers Fairly' principles to ensure they are at the heart of all you say and do.
- Proven experience within an administrative support function or similar role is essential, particularly working in a platform environment (front and back office).
- Advanced analytical and numerical skills, with emphasis on Excel use is essential, with the ability to use macros, formulas and reformat large data sets.
- Working to strict deadlines whilst maintaining a methodical approach to work with particular emphasis on the details is essential.
- Experience using investment platforms, particularly data extraction to monitor transactions.
- Have strong organisational skills, with the ability to effectively multi‑task under pressure in an environment where team priorities constantly develop, whilst maintaining speed and accuracy.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Be ready to assist all members of the team to achieve both their individual and team objectives, particularly during busy periods.
