The Oil Markets Associate/Price Reporter for EMEA Light Ends Markets is responsible for day‑to‑day price reporting on Light Ends (naphtha, LPG and gasoline) markets in Europe.
Responsibilities
- Assess markets daily using the established methodology, survey participants throughout the day, publish price updates, and ensure all assessments are completed accurately and timely.
- Write high‑quality market commentaries and news stories that explain assessment outcomes and market developments, meeting editorial standards.
- Report news about the markets, including supply and demand developments, regulatory changes, and trader movements; produce original reporting and file stories before lunchtime when appropriate.
- Engage with market sources across the region, maintain and update source lists, and provide timely summaries to management.
- Meet strict deadlines: assessments by 6:30 pm, commentaries by 7:00 pm, and remain in the office by 9:30 am London time.
- Maintain editorial standards: manage methodology initiatives through MTT, follow house reporting style, correct fewer than 0.25 % of assessments, and handle enquiries and complaints effectively.
